Project Title: Television Remixed

Objective:
The Wayout TV commercial was developed to promote the platform’s dedication to delivering diverse educational content across prison channels. Its mission is to empower incarcerated individuals through programs that inspire learning, foster personal growth, and provide tools for rehabilitation. Our approach to sound design and music focused on highlighting this transformative journey, emphasizing hope, progress, and connection.

Music Integration:
Music was central to conveying the uplifting and motivational tone of the commercial. We created a dynamic score combining rhythmic percussion, synth ostinato, and chord pads to evoke energy and optimism.

The evolving dance music mirrored the varied experiences of Wayout TV viewers, with subtle layering marking moments of discovery and reflection. This ensured that the music maintained emotional resonance without overshadowing the visuals.

Sound Design Approach:
Our sound design focused on enhancing the audiovisual domain through a synth soundscape. This was blended with the soundtrack to morph both into one, creating a culmination of varied textures.

Tone and Style:
The tone of the sound design was warm, hopeful, and motivating. We aimed to reflect both the tangible realities of prison learning spaces and the intangible sense of potential and renewal that Wayout TV brings. By blending naturalistic and abstract sound elements, we created an engaging soundscape that supported the campaign’s themes of empowerment and transformation.

Technical Delivery:

• Delivered in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound formats, optimized for broadcast and online platforms.
• Mixed to meet broadcast loudness standards, ensuring clear and balanced audio.
